Asheville Percussion provides a creative environment where percussionists and musicians of all traditions gather to explore, innovate, educate and build community.

The 3rd annual Asheville Percussion Festival took place June 20-22, 2014 at the Diana Wortham Theatre and at OM Sanctuary in beautiful downtown Asheville, NC. There were plenty of workshops for all levels on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Workshop topics included technique, performing, improvising and composing. The workshops were led by world-renowned Percussion Faculty. APF offered free noontime concerts and demonstrations, as well as evening concerts that featured solo and ensemble works by the teaching artists. There was also be Drum/Percussion vending by companies like Cooperman, Meinl, Skinny Beats, and other local and national drum makers.
